ABOUT US
Who We Are
Wen Tzao Language Institute was founded in 1993 by Mrs. Viola Kuo. Wen Tzao is located at Lu-Kang, a historical small town in central Taiwan.
We teach Taiwanese elementary and high school students English as a foreign language after their regular
school hours. Currently there are about 400 part-time students and 6 full-time teachers in the school now.
All the students come to the school either twice or three times a week after their regular school hours.
We divide students in two different classes by different levels and ages.
Our Mission
We provide English education in an affordable way to the public because we believe education should be
affordable to everyone. We value teachers’ training and reinvest our profit in teachers’ professional development.
Our People
Our philosophy is based on Mrs. Viola Kuo’s vision for English education.
Mrs. Viola Kuo has been teaching since 1964. She has taught English in
public elementary, middle, and high schools and is a well-respected teacher
in Lukang.
Sophia Huang has been teaching with Wen Tzao since 1993 and is currently
pursuing her doctoral degree in Education. Her interest is in Learning
and Instruction, TEFL teacher professional development, and cognitive
psychology in children’s learning.
